Our projects Dalkeith Miners Welfare and Social Club
Our company has a long established relationship with Dalkeith Miners Club, and have been invited to refurbish their:
- games room
- small function hall on two occasions
- large function hall
This funtion hall has a great floor design, with a split level set-up and therefore the overall layout did not change. However, the hall had not been refurbished since it was built around 30 years ago, and really looked tired and dated.
Solutions by B & S Ltd were invited to put forward designs for the hall which would make it feel more like a nightclub, while retaining its standing as a mining/community club.
With the vision and forward thinking of the committee and members, the club agreed with our designs and colour schemes.
The work included a new stage facility, ceilings, seating, furniture, lighting and sound systems, stepped wall features and flooring throughout.
All works were completed in ten weeks with the club remaining open at weekends.
